Job Summary
A cloud technology company is seeking a Remote Security Operations Center Analyst.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring, researching, classifying and analyzing security events that occur in the cloud, on-prem network, or endpoint
- Communicating clearly, concisely, and timely to a variety of stakeholders on both urgent and routine matters
- Being available for occasional escalations after hours and on-call pager duty
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 2+ years of work experience in security operations or directly applicable experience
- Firm understanding of major operating systems (Linux, MacOS, Windows)
- Experience in triaging viruses, malware, ransomware, and other security events on endpoints
- Knowledge of email security principles and best practices
- Strong knowledge of cloud Infrastructure and techniques for investigating s ecurity events in the cloud
- Analytical mindset and experience, close attention to detail, critical thinking, logic, and a solution orientation
