A software development company is filling a position for a Remote Senior Data Platform Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Contributing to the development of our large scale Data Platform
- Exploring new infrastructure needed to support the growing needs of our data platform
- Scaling the data storage layer and optimize our compute layer for reliability and performance
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years experience on building/maintaining a large scale production-grade data platform
- Experience deploying and managing data orchestration systems
- Expertise working with Spark
- AWS knowledge and expertise per S3, Lambda, SQS, and Kinesis
