Remote Senior OpenShift Kubernetes Engineer

Job Summary

A government services company has a current position open for a Remote Senior OpenShift Kubernetes Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Serve as a team lead as part of a technical team
• Support and manage multiple OpenShift Container Platform clusters across multiple environments on-premises and in the cloud
• Team with other professionals to design, architect, test, install, and deploy solutions based on Red Hat technologies

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related scientific or technical discipline
• 8+ years of IT experience
• 7+ years of experience with Linux operating systems including installing, configuring, and troubleshooting
• 4+ years of experience with maintenance and administration of Kubernetes platforms, preferably OpenShift
• 3+ years of experience with: CI/CD framework, DevOps methodologies, and tooling
