Remote Senior Principal Security Engineer

Job Summary

A software development firm is seeking a Remote Senior Principal Security Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Evaluating security tools to meet business requirements for the reduction of risk
• Responding to potential incidents as a member of the incident response team
• Providing guidance and mentor other team members in information security best practices

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science or equivalent discipline
• 8+ years of experience in an information security role or experience with security and network devices and software.
• Relevant information security and privacy certifications preferred, including CISSP, CISM, CISA, SSCP, CEH, Security+
• ITIL exposure preferred, foundations certification desirable
• Proven experience planning and executing enterprise-wide security projects and initiatives
• Experience with cloud solutions such as Azure and AWS
