Job Summary
A social media company is seeking a Remote Senior Storage Software Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the foundational platform for running infrastructure
- Develop reliable and efficient workflows to automate a large number of operational tasks
- Design, write, and deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of products in Go and sometimes Python
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience developing internet-scale software, preferably in infrastructure roles
- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with a service-oriented team and company
