Remote Senior Transport Network Planning Engineer

Job Summary

A telecommunications and software company has an open position for a Remote Senior Transport Network Planning Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Plan the next evolution of the Transport Core topology
• Administer Transport Network Plans
• Establish and maintain positive and productive working relationships

Qualifications Include:

• -Knowledge of Infinera/Coriant/Ciena/Cyan, Cisco, Nokia and other Fiber Optic Transmission Systems
• Demonstrable entry-level experience in computer science, information systems, analytics and/or databases
• Knowledge of DWDM/SONET/Layer 2/MPLS/IP routing technology, overall
• In depth knowledge of one or more engineering disciplines
• Good understanding of the telecommunications industry
• In-depth knowledge of accepted engineering practices-Computer software knowledge
