Job Summary

An internet publishing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Staff Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with data scientists to design, build, and deploy reusable components
  • Using your technical and data expertise to establish robust data pipelines
  • Expanding our pipeline instrumentation and tooling

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience building, maintaining, and supporting high-volume data systems and infrastructure
  • Experience with GCP BigQuery, DataStudio, and Looker
  • Experience with Relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with Python, Apache Airflow, and dbt
  • Experience with and a desire to continue learning about data infrastructure and frameworks
