Job Summary
An online network for healthcare and insurance markets is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Staff Software Platform Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Build reliable tools
- Work with code to create tools to enable self-service
- Provide a compelling internal solution
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, Senior Software Engineer, or in a similar role
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems, IP networking, performance, and application issues
- Familiarity with IAC tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK
