Job Summary
A company that offers a full range of hosting products is in need of a Remote System Monitoring Junior System Administrator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing solutions to moderately technical issues from internal business units
- Monitoring the server farm for stability and taking proactive and reactive measures to correct and prevent system issues
- Working together with our support teams to resolve any customer impacting server issues
Required Skills:
- 2+ years of Linux System Administrator experience
- Experience writing basic shell scripts to help automate routine tasks
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to read technical documentation and execute commands based on a troubleshooting guide
- Basic troubleshooting knowledge in web hosting software such as Apache, MySQL and Exim in a CLI interface
- Ability to work on your own or as a team in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
