Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Distribution System Planning Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform distribution system planning and analysis, including load application studies and impact analysis
- Conduct power flow studies and voltage analysis related to inverter-based generation
- Support generator interconnection applications and compliance with regulatory policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 10 years relevant engineering experience in power system analysis
- Experience using distribution planning software and familiarity with industry standards
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Experience with modeling inverter-based resources and renewable generation
