Senior Field Network Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Field Network Engineer (Top Secret Clearance) to work remotely in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide network engineering expertise and support for Akamai services on Government networks
- Manage and implement Akamai equipment and capabilities for Government programs
- Become the Government's subject matter expert on Akamai technologies
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Top Secret Security Clearance / SBI eligible required
- Network engineering and programmatic experience, including network implementation and configuration management
- Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, encapsulation, addressing protocols, VPN, MPLS
- Experience with enterprise networks and DoD's NIPRNet and SIPRNet
