Job Summary
A company in the Information Technology industry is seeking a Senior IT Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Consultant.
Position Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and report IT and security risks, including prioritizing remediation efforts for security systems
- Perform risk and readiness assessments across the organization against various security frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Assist with the Assessment, Control, Security and Governance processes within the Information Security Department
Required Qualifications:
- BS or equivalent and 8 years of work experience in an audit or control function, or equivalent combination
- Extensive experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance and/or Enterprise Risk Management systems
- Security certifications preferred (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC) or with a requirement of obtaining within 6 months upon hire
- Experience working with technology such as Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Network Sensors, Endpoint Controls, Data Loss Prevention is required
- Excellent organization, prioritization, negotiation and influencing skills
