Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Researcher, Mechanism Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and evaluate mechanisms for economic security, decentralization, and performance
- Evaluate potential attack vectors and develop mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and test new mechanism options
Required Qualifications
- Significant academic and applied experience in economics related to permissionless blockchains
- Excellent knowledge of mechanisms and policies in existing blockchains
- Familiarity with major DeFi primitives such as AMMs, bridges, and oracles
- Experience with consensus mechanisms and staking economics
- Previous experience at a L1 or L2 blockchain protocol is a plus
