Sr Circuit Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Circuit Design Engineer with 5+ years of experience in circuit design engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining all carrier configuration information, initiating trunk group builds and traffic implementation, and monitoring and reporting for all layers within capacity management
• Tracking, documenting, and compiling Engineering information relating to customer, internal equipment, Network and ILEC/LEC facilities
• Completing Design Layout Reports (DLR), building and testing retail and carrier voice and data circuits, and troubleshooting design issues when accepting circuits from the LEC

Requirements:

• Knowledge of multiple OSS's including M6, Netxgen, TBS, and Netcracker, and familiarity with a variety of equipment for building and testing of DS1s
• Knowledge of vetting, quoting, contract processing, installation, and turn up to establish connectivity domestically and internationally for backbone infrastructure and voice carrier connectivity
• A proven track record of providing technical support and order status for internal and external customers, and the ability to escalate troubles with Carriers and any internal departments as necessary
