Principal Design Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Design Engineer in the microelectronics field.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and document printed circuit boards (PCBs) for RF applications from conception to manufacturing
- Create PCB, Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), and Schematic drawings for suppliers
- Interface with multi-disciplined engineering groups to ensure design requirements are met
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the microelectronics field
- Experience in Schematic Capture, Component Placement, and Routing of Traces
- Proficiency in Siemens Mentor Graphics and BluePrint software
- Design layout experience with Rigid, Flex, and Rigid-Flex assemblies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
