System Storage Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote System & Storage Engineer for a 6 months contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine storage support tasks, including expansion, error management, drive replacement, space clean-up, and upgrades
- Manage Dell servers, troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues, plan and execute server upgrades and maintenance
- Administer and maintain Microsoft ecosystem, facilitate integration from Google Workspace SSO to Active Directory, manage Linux-based systems, and utilize Git repositories for version control
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven experience in managing storage hardware and Dell servers
- Strong expertise in Microsoft ecosystem, including Windows Server, MS SQL Server, and Active Directory
- Experience with Google Workspace and integration with Active Directory, familiarity with Linux systems, and knowledge of authentication systems
- Proficiency in using Git repositories like Github/Gitlab
