Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Technical Support Engineer with expertise in Linux systems and software troubleshooting to provide technical support for Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) platforms, focusing on diagnosing and resolving issues while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for ATE software and hardware, focusing on Linux-based environments
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in operating systems, drivers, middleware, and test program execution
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve escalated technical issues and support system integration and software updates
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, or software engineering in a Linux environment
- Proficiency with Linux command line tools, scripting (Bash, Python, or similar), and system monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting skills in software/hardware interactions
- Familiarity with automatic test equipment (ATE) or similar complex instrumentation
