Telecommute Network Engineer IV

Job Summary

An IT and engineering firm has a current position open for a Telecommute Network Engineer IV.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Designing and planning network communications systems
• Planning implementation of enhancements and upgrades to the network
• Providing specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of professional experience in a large Data Center environment
• ust have a current, active Secret (or higher) clearance or ability to obtain. Interim clearances are acceptable
• Network configuration automation (Scripting with Perl/Python/Bash)
• Network service protocols such as TCPIP/DNS/LDAP/Web Technologies
• Familiarity with DOD IT security requirements
• BS Degree and 8-10 years' experience or MS degree with 6-8 years' experience or a high school diploma/equivalent with min12 years' experience
