Threat Response Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Threat Response Engineer in the field of Security Operations and Detection Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, contain, and remediate threats in customer environments using the company's detection platform and security products
• Provide detailed reports to customers on actions taken to clean up their environment and protect them from further damage
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop new strategies for timely threat remediation and enhance customer security

Required Qualifications:

• Understanding of Windows and MacOS operating systems and network communication
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) products such as CarbonBlack, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
• Familiarity with email, identity, and cloud computing technologies including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Protection
• Knowledge of enterprise technology, network controls, cloud environments, and security operations
• Experience responding to security events and familiarity with Cloud, SaaS, and Identity security products
