Tier 3 Security Log Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Security Log Analyst (Tier 3) to join their cybersecurity team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide log analysis, cyber threat intelligence, and respond to potential threats and associated risks
- Review and analyze server and security log events
- Coordinate with other cyber defenders on cyber investigations and incident response as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
- US Citizenship and must be able to pass a background investigation (up to Top Secret)
- MUST HAVE one of the following ACTIVE certifications: CISSP, GCIH, or CASP+
- Experience performing log analysis and reporting
- Operational understanding of enterprise networking and security tools
