Translation Project Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is seeking a Translation Project Manager in Raleigh, NC to coordinate the translation of K-12 content for English language learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of contract translators, editors, and quality testers, and oversee the entire translation process, including translation, editing, product integration, QA, and release
• Create and maintain project schedules and workflows, and communicate project goals and estimates to stakeholders
• Collaborate with content production and software engineering teams to overcome technical obstacles, and work with curriculum designers to identify content for translation and ensure translations preserve pedagogical integrity

Required Qualifications and Education:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field
• A minimum of two years of experience in translation or localization management
• Proficiency with written Spanish required; near-native-level fluency in Spanish is preferred
• Experience using spreadsheet and project management software
• Familiarity with K-12 education, academic Spanish in the K-12 setting, and knowledge of computer programming, mobile, and web technologies are a plus
