Job Summary
A non-profit behavioral and social science research organization is seeking a Virtual Copy Editor.
Must be able to:
- Review, clarify, and revise technical information
- Perform three levels of editing (proofread, light, and full) and cross-checking, formatting, and verifying citations and references
- Review documents for a logical, well-organized structure
Qualifications for this position include:
- At least 5 years of relevant technical editing experience
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Background working in a federal contractor environment
- Flexible schedule with the capacity to work evenings and weekends as needed
