Aerospace Structures Design Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Engineer, Structures Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and progress structural designs through various design phases
- Take ownership of an aircraft zone and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Lead the development of design tools and best practices while collaborating with suppliers and teams
Qualifications/Requirements
- B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
- 4+ years of aerospace structural design experience
- Strong knowledge of composite structural design and systems integration
- Experience in aircraft level development programs and familiarity with FAR Part 23 and Part 25 requirements
- Advanced proficiency with CATIA V5/V6/3DX and experience in PLM systems
