Assistant Controller
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Maintain GL integrity, manage budgets, and collaborate with teams for compliance
- Oversee accounting for new initiatives and drive process improvements in accounting functions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounting roles, including public and corporate accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards
- Hands-on experience with financial statements and external auditors
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with ERP systems preferred
