Job Summary
A company is looking for a Category Manager to support category management and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support category strategy execution and collaboration with key business functions
- Negotiate and manage supplier contracts while ensuring stakeholder needs are met
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and facilitate resolution of supplier issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, finance, or supply chain
- 3-5+ years of procurement experience in category management, sourcing, and supplier management
- 1-3+ years of experience in the biotech or life sciences industry
- Basic understanding of GMP manufacturing processes and regulations
- Experience with Ariba and SAP preferred
