Job Summary
A company is looking for a Primary Care Coding Associate III.
Key Responsibilities
- Assigns codes for diagnoses, treatments, and procedures according to classification systems
- Reviews and queries physician assigned diagnosis codes for accuracy
- Enters and validates codes and charges while ensuring compliance with coding standards
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CCS-P or CPC Certification
- Five (5) years of coding experience
- Two (2) years of coding experience in Primary Care
- Extensive knowledge of official coding conventions and payer guidelines
