Certified Coding Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Manager responsible for operational coding functions within the Health Information Management Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and evaluate coding staff while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Monitor productivity and assist in resolving day-to-day operational issues affecting staff performance
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with medical staff and other departments to support coding operations

Required Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of coding and leadership experience, with previous management experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements
• Working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and coding software
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• Current certification such as CPC, CCS, or RHIT is required
