Certified Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Medical Coder - National Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate clinical coding from medical records to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Assist in providing feedback regarding coding and reimbursement processes
• Train coders and educate providers while performing audits to maintain coding standards

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or higher
• Coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA (e.g., CPC, RHIT, CCS)
• 3+ years of coding experience
• 3+ years of experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, Modifiers & HCPCS coding
• 1+ years of experience in medical terminology, disease processes, and anatomy and physiology
