Cloud Platform Engineer II
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer II.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage cloud-based deployment environments for system availability, performance, scalability, and security
- Enforce security within the cloud provider and develop technical infrastructure and application design plans
- Build systems for monitoring health, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure and participate in on-call rotations for support
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of cloud engineering experience, with 2-3 years on the AWS platform
- Kubernetes subject matter expert with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code practices and writing Terraform modules
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Understanding of security and compliance protocols such as HIPAA and HITRUST is preferred
