Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, classify, and abstract clinical data from patients' medical records for coding purposes
• Apply ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines to select and sequence correct diagnostic and procedural codes
• Keep current with coding updates, attend meetings, and maintain coding quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• Post High School education or equivalent
• Two years of professional fee coding experience
• Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy/physiology
• Current certification in CPC, CCS-P, or CCS
• Comprehensive understanding of ICD-10 and coding principles
