Computational Research Scientist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Computational Research Scientist.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with neuroscientists and engineers to develop innovative products and analyze large-scale biological datasets
- Lead external neuroscience data analysis collaborations in industry and academia
- Create exploratory analyses and reports on algorithms for brain activity and animal behavior datasets
Qualifications:
- PhD in neuroscience, physics, bioinformatics, math, statistics, computational biology/genomics, or related field
- Experience in data visualization and presenting scientific findings
- Proficient in Python and/or Matlab for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
- Knowledge of machine learning models and data visualizations for customer-facing products
- Ability to apply complex data analysis and machine learning techniques to answer neuroscience questions
