CPA Technical Accounting Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager of Technical Accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and ensure timely adoption of new accounting standards, including preparation of technical accounting memos
- Assist in accounting close for matters such as segment reporting and goodwill assessments
- Provide technical accounting direction and training for the accounting organization and manage external auditor relationships
Required Qualifications:
- CPA and Big Four experience required
- Minimum of 6 years in public accounting or a multinational corporation, with at least 4 years at a Big 4 firm
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, AICPA, PCAOB Auditing Standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley
- Sound understanding of SaaS and related technology preferred
- Positive, proactive work ethic with strong multi-tasking abilities
