Data Engineering Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Engineering Lead to guide the technical evolution and team development of its data engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture of the data product strategy and execute the roadmap for data ingestion, transformation, and access
• Design and deliver scalable, reliable data pipelines and oversee the evolution to cloud-native architectures
• Lead and inspire a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of growth and continuous learning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or platform roles, with 3+ years in a technical leadership capacity
• Proven experience building cloud-native data platforms, preferably in healthcare or life sciences
• Expertise in Python, SQL, Spark, and distributed data processing systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS-native tools and streaming data architectures
