Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Engineer to support enterprise IT operations remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute database backups, disaster recovery procedures, and failover mechanisms
- Monitor database systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience or Master's with 2 years of experience
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator managing enterprise-level databases
- Strong proficiency in database administration, including installation and performance tuning
- Familiarity with AWS RDS features and SQL Server Availability Groups
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
