Senior Database Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Database Engineer to join their database services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform database administration, including provisioning new MongoDB clusters and working with developers on design and queries
- Manage software installation, patches, upgrades, and database schema changes, along with tuning and replication
- Provide 24x7 support and participate in the DBA on-call rotation schedule
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science
- 8-10 years of DBA experience
- Deep experience with Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL databases
- Experience with databases hosted on Linux
- Knowledge of database architecture and high availability solutions
