Key Responsibilities
- Administer, operate, and tune performance of Vitess-managed MySQL datastores
- Architect new Vitess-based MySQL database infrastructure on bare metal
- Deliver managed data platform solutions and drive adoption of services across the company
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting MySQL in a production environment, with knowledge of backups, high availability, and performance tuning
- Track record of developing and automating platform solutions for engineering teams
- Experience with data technologies such as Kafka and Redis
- Fluency in SQL, Python, Bash, or other scripting languages
- Experience with configuration management tools like Chef & Ansible
