Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Engineering - Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical strategy for the Platform Business Unit, focusing on infrastructure and developer productivity
- Lead and scale a globally distributed engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Drive modernization of core infrastructure and establish best practices for operational excellence and security
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical leadership experience in platform engineering or cloud infrastructure
- Proven success in architecting and scaling high-reliability systems for SaaS or cloud-native environments
- Experience leading large, distributed engineering teams through hypergrowth phases
- Strong track record of collaborating across cross-functional teams to deliver platform strategies
- Understanding of internal developer challenges and external customer needs in the data ecosystem
