Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of External Affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as company spokesperson to enhance and protect corporate reputation through clear messaging
- Develop and oversee external and internal communications strategies, including media and social media initiatives
- Create comprehensive communication plans and manage budgets for various projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Journalism, Political Science, or related field; Master's Degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in communications, particularly in media relations and supporting high-level officials
- Experience as a press secretary or communications director in the public sector preferred
- Strong political acumen with experience navigating complex political landscapes
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong media relationships
