Entry Level Structural Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Entry-Level Structural Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various calculations for steel and concrete member design, building foundation design, and design of lateral load resistant systems
- Create 3D models using STAAD or RISA in conjunction with manual calculations and spreadsheets
- Assist with the development of engineering drawings and specifications, material take-offs, and checking shop drawings
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis from an accredited program
- FE certificate or obtainable within a year
- MS in Structural Engineering from an accredited program (preferred)
- Experience with RISA-3D and 3D structural analysis software
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and Revit
