Evaluation Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Evaluation Expert for a four-month assignment to evaluate the African Adaptation Acceleration Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the evaluation design, methodology, and work plan, ensuring alignment with OECD-DAC and GCA evaluation frameworks
• Oversee the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
• Guide the assessment of VfM analysis, climate adaptation results, and gender equality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, Climate Change, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in program evaluation, particularly in climate adaptation and VfM analysis
• Strong understanding of OECD-DAC evaluation criteria and gender-sensitive evaluation approaches
• Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Prior experience evaluating programs for Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs)
