Job Summary
A company is looking for an Export Authorization Analyst to support the Grid Deployment Office within the Department of Energy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, draft, and route Export Authorization decisions
- Review Export Authorization applications and assist the Federal Permitting Team
- Draft internal memorandums, decision documents, and manage website updates related to Export Authorizations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience drafting energy-related proposed decisions or orders at FERC or a State Public Utility Commission
- Knowledge of electricity markets and power marketing companies
- Experience coordinating internal routing and approvals on tight deadlines
- U.S. Citizenship is required
