Framing and Drywall Estimator
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Framing Drywall Estimator.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates for framing and drywall systems in commercial and residential projects
- Perform quantity takeoffs for materials such as wood and metal framing, drywall, insulation, and ceiling systems
- Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals based on project scope and specifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years in construction estimating, focusing on framing and drywall
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of wood and metal framing, drywall installation, and acoustical ceiling systems
- Experience with estimating software such as ProEst, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff
- Ability to read architectural and structural blueprints and perform precise material calculations
