Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder Inpatient.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstracts, codes, sequences, and interprets clinical information from various medical records
- Assigns correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures with accurate sequencing
- Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and ensures confidentiality of patient records
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 2+ years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting
- Experience with Epic and Optum CAC
- Must possess RHIT, RHIA, or CCS credential
- Able to work Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST
- Maintain a 95% coding accuracy rate
