Load Balancers Senior Network Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Network Engineer (Load balancers) for a remote position in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a large inventory of application delivery controllers (load balancers) and troubleshoot network layer 1-7 issues
- Execute projects without causing application impact and engineer innovative solutions using scripting/automation
- Secure applications from malicious traffic and respond to high priority on-call engagements
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years experience troubleshooting and maintaining application delivery controllers (load balancers) and other network appliances
- 3+ years experience automating network infrastructure tasks
- Advanced knowledge of HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, switching and routing, and mitigating OWASP top 10 security threats
- 2+ years supporting cloud native applications in Azure, GCP, or AWS
