Machine Learning and Recommendations Staff Product Manager

Job Summary

A company in the Internet and eCommerce industry is looking for a Staff Product Manager, Machine Learning and Recommendations.

Position Responsibilities

• Shape the vision for delivering personalized content to users and have an impact on the broader organization
• Own the recommender systems deployed into production and MLOps
• Partner with PMs to ensure building of ML-powered products and chart a path for personalizing strong editorial content in line with business priorities

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a product manager of digital products
• 2+ years of experience developing products in one or more of the following areas: ML modeling, ML-first user experience, ML-Platform, MLOps
• Strong analytical ability and understanding of ML development best practices
• Passion for building ML-powered products with exemplary user experience
• Understanding of sophisticated data management problems and related machine learning techniques
