Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe Application Support Engineer - CMOD Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor system performance and proactively address issues across CMOD and Mobius applications
- Maintain and enhance technical documentation; identify gaps and ensure materials are current and well-organized
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and recurring problems efficiently
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mainframe application support or development
- Expertise in COBOL programming and CMOD development/administration
- Proficiency with JCL, MVS utilities, and DB2/SQL
- Experience with mainframe job scheduling tools
