Mainframe Systems Programmer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe Systems Programmer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for all CICS environments, including installation, modification, and troubleshooting
- Lead the installation of new CICS versions and apply updates from IBM as required
- Mentor less experienced teammates and collaborate with support personnel for incident resolution and upgrades
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to install and support multiple CICS regions
- Experience with CICS Transaction Gateway and supporting CICS table updates
- Solid knowledge of mainframe JCL and utilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience
- 8+ years of experience in a related job
