Mainframe Systems Programmer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe System Programmer to support their CICS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall support for all CICS environments, including installation, modification, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Lead the installation of new CICS versions and apply updates from IBM as required
- Mentor teammates and collaborate with support personnel for incident resolution and project support
Required Qualifications and Education
- Demonstrated ability to install, configure, and support multiple CICS regions and environments
- 8+ years of experience in a related job
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant experience
- Experience with mainframe JCL, TSO, ISPF, SDSF, and SMF
- Ability to provide after-hours support in an on-call rotation
