Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inpatient Facility Coder to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review documentation to code diagnoses and procedures
• Communicate with physicians to clarify diagnoses and procedures
• Maintain a minimum accuracy rate of 98% while meeting productivity standards

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in facility-based inpatient coding
• Credentials: CCS, RHIT, RHIA (AHIMA) or CPC, CPC-H (AAPC)
• Experience with Level 1 Trauma coding and DRG
• Knowledge of federal, state, and payer regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
