NESC Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an NESC Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate, catalog, and inspect telecom equipment for NESC compliance
- Perform detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks including design and budget tracking
- Collaborate with multiple groups on network element designs and project implementation
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing OSP Engineers and reviewing their projects
- Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles and work order procedures
- Ability to identify existing utilities and manage right of ways and easements
- Understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements
- Experience with local networks and necessary engineering tools
